My beloved steel Gunnar Roadie was stolen out of the back of the car last night. Yes my car was open so i guess i asked for it but fuck the asshole. Both cars were ransacked and after a call to cops i learned i wasnt the only. The front end of the hood was hit. I am sick over this i loved this bike.

WTF!! in your driveway? I will most definitely keep my eyes peeled... I feel sorry for the scumbag if they try and pawn it off or get a repair or some shit at the shop... dual purpose pedal wrench will be employed... questions asked later... :getsome:

This stinks! Really sorry this has to happen to you. If this is your only road bike, Art said he would lend you his old trek. It is a 56 with a cracked hub, but he can probably dig up another wheel. Just pm or call me.

Some things that standout on the bike wheels are BHS hubs red which have no label red nips on velocity a23 rims. 105 black crankset. Microshift brifters. Tekro r741 calipers black. Red ritchey stem.

Yeah pixy it is and it will take a long time to replace it if it doesnt turn up.

That sucks. I was thinking last night to make sure I locked the car up cause the garage door opener is in there... it would only take someone a few seconds to open the door and grab all my bikes. That totaly sucks.

Anyway keep an eye out on Craigs List... there has been a few happy ending news stories out here on the west coast of folks getting thier bikes stolen and then find them for sale on CL. They were able to set up a sting with the cops and they ended finding a bunch of bikes that had been stoloen.

Also call your insurance company, they might cover some of the loss. Not sure but it may be worth a phone call.

Best of luck.
