*stolen*

shit dude. i'll keep my eyes open here. there are a TON of dudes in parts of my town that, uh, "commute via bike". that won't be hard to spot.

we've had a ton of car break-ins around here too. i used to never lock my cars in the drive way but have religiously for the last two years.

sucks man, really sucks.

New Jersey continues to sink to a new low, so sorry Matty. Will keep our eyes out down here as well, some ass kicking is in order.:getsome:

Sorry Matt and Pat, that really sucks.

I think its time to move all of my bikes out of the garage and into the basement.

Yeah just cars

been happening here in somerset too. a lot. i heard police here were thinking its more than just one or two people doing this because of the amount of times its happening, and that its all over town.

i got nailed twice this summer (my locks in my old car were bunk). lost a digital camera the first time.

this sucks dude.... I will keep an eye on craigslist things are getting really bad, hate to say it but when we first moved to Bricktown we did not lock anything now it's out nightly ritual to check everything... as one who has had a car stolen I feel your pain dude..I blame video games...

So sorry to hear, Matt. That sucks big time. Being that it is not a common bike, I have high hopes it will be recovered.

Good that Sean will be on the look out for it at the local shoppe.

As I type my bike is in my car in the driveway.Yikes!Sorry to hear about this.Google Hoboken bicycle theft. My computer skills suck.Story about pros who had over $40,000 in stolen high end bikes in their vans.Stolen from the Jersey city Hoboken area.

Sucks, man. Contact your homeowners insurance and see what they say. At least it's a unique bike...I gotta imagine it's going to be easier to find if they try to sell it. Call a few pawn shops in the area, too, and tell them you'd offer up $100 to get it back.

Please, please lock your cars. This happens quite frequently. Also: write down the serial number to your bikes somewhere so the PD can enter them into the NCIC database as a stolen article.

I was really upset to read this earlier on Patty's FB page. I'm sorry to hear this - will keep my eyes peeled in my area/on the alert for your bike.
