Kind of dig that bevy setup...ive been doing a lot of tarp camping this year, mainly because of weight concerns...have done proper square UK army tarp as well as Kelty Noah tarps (caternary setup). Whats the weight on that thing? Here's last week setup...about a pound in weight, way less than tent...

Plan C. I'm in North Carolina now. I went to set up camp where I left off and it's super sketchy. Not sketchy if I were Bikepacking, but sketchy to leave a car there. So now I'm at a super sketchy Motel in NC that isn't much better, but I can at least park my car on the BRP for the day where it'll be safe.

What does "Pit Stopped the front tire" mean? Seems like carbon rims are more trouble than they are worth. Great photos!

It's like fix a flat. Sealant and Co2 in a single thing. It's meant for Tubular tires, but also works great for this kinda poop. If I were running an alloy rim, it also would've buckled. I've found carbon will usually bend and flex while alloy just bends. The bead and rim bed are still perfect, the fairing just buckled and a spoke pulled up. It's got 200 miles on it broken 🙃

Is the rim forever poop or something like that can be fixed, if even worth doing so? Would the warranty apply? Rims are the only thing I haven’t gone carbon yet. I am carbon rib curious, but it wouldn’t be worth it for the rider that I am, plus I cracked my only carbon frame on its first ride (but never crashed it again since I had it repaired).

Really inspiring stuff, sorry I meant poop...thanks for sharing your adventures in here, makes me feel vicariously adventurous while reading about them!
