Going Long and Hard.

everyone is slowing down - looks like snow is moving in on the map - nothing on the forecast.
 
It looks like a tough go for everyone right now. (6:30 est) all racers are at a crawl.

did the race leader just go the wrong way out of the checkpoint?
maybe a mapping problem?
 
looks like a large group hit w. yellowstone in a 45 minute window.
Back out at it after a few hours of rest.
quick calc indicates he hit the trail again at 1am MST. 50 miles to go around 6am est, he should finish up in a snow storm..

Sleeping?? bah, I thought he only did the 200k race?? 😉 Go get'em Jim, stay safe.......is the trackleader board up and running? According to mine, no one has moved for several hours....must be down......

working for me. Jim @ 77 mile mark, doing almost 5mph. 1st place is close to finishing.

i'd guess that the travel/schedule complication took its toll. better sleep than die. although at 25F, he'd probably go for an outside shower.
