here come old flat tire

got a flat on river dr in garfiled as an old timer decided to make a u turn, i went up on side walk when i came back in the street picked up some glass and a flat, much to my chagrin my spare was kaput and had to walk it home. good thing i was near the end of my ride. good thing the tire says puncture protection as i got two flats in 2 rides with these babies. one a splinter last saturday, today a piece of glass or sharp small rock

sussex rail trail & paulinskill

mtbed sussex rail trail & paulinskill yesterday. was going to go to columbia trail as i though it would be less muddy. yes sussex trail was muddy just south of 15 & 206 cross roads. at least the farmers market at that corner was much more reasonablly priced then the ones in chester. there are amazing deals on fresh veggies:popcorn:

Looks like you started in Portland of Slateford Road. Curious, if you start there, how do you link up with the official trail. Do you exit the trail at the first bridge that spans high above the Paulinskill. I've done the 2 trails together before but have always taken 94 to the trail head. I live out in Portland BTW.
