up englewood boat basin a roadie past me. before the rotary i asked him about his pinarillo, he said at first its a 96, but later changed the tune. anyway he was very friendly but i smoked him (the floridian) on the alpine climb, as well as the gal with the dutch accent, who claimed it was her easy day, but went up the alpine climb very strong:popcorn:
 
snow and rain...

ran up to the hi mtn summit on this rainy wednesday. shortly after taking this pic, near the very top a red young mountan lion ran accross my path

on the way up to the summit i veerd off the main yellow path a bit to another path that was very steep

Did I meet you on Garret Mountain one time and lead you back to Hasbrouck Heights via Paulison in Clifton to River Rd in Garfield? It was Aug 14th, the day before Ramapo Rally
 
After windham I headed to cooperstown. Got in 10k run this morning from lake otsego up into the hills on a seasonal dirt road

Did all of hi mtn today. Got lost on blue. At end at wpu saw hiker who grow up in area and he gets lost on blue too. Said he contacted hire ups that blue needs blazing

here's the route on droid, my delorme really helped w/the ride, but i think i deleted the route. i needed to go to delorme 101 school

Started day with 16.75 mile mtb ride around stewart newburgh ny droid caught half ride

I than drove my car to windham via frost valley where I trail ran just under 4 miiles

Started raining hard at end of run. Never would have made it to big indian peak or. 15 miles of trails to pine hill where my sibling resides
 
wanted to road bike in the catskills today but it was very windy and I had no road bike. I took the mtb to the trail head on 23 and went looking for the elm ridge trails as was recommened to me by windham outfitters that gave me a free map of the area. I missed the turn and got my 1st ftrip to the 3500 club. next time I just bring the runners as one hiker had the same sweet addidas light weight trail runnefs as me

Ran at saddle river park two days in a row at lunch. Yesterday my droid tacked on an entire mile thereby skewing my pace faster

Car said 94 degrees so I don't feel so bad about the slow pace. Also go slower on the trail part as I sprained my ankle there earlier this year:popcorn:

Week has been going well had 2 days running tues wed. Then thur river rd and today hi mtn. I have a brookdale garret mtn road ride Sunday. Saturday should be good for mtb lenapie

Good ride today Jim. Too bad we couldn't map out that climb through Woodland Park. I'll let you know about Harriman later this week!

Thanks for showing me that climb. I think I am going to put the ride in for Harriman from Sloatsburg on Saturday. Lots of times i carry 3 gps cause one never seems to capture the ride especially the droid. :popcorn:
 
i can see for miles and miles

was a picture perfect day on hi mtn. the droid logged the run and took the pic. a better camera woulda done more justice to the view
