    2014 Trek Cali SL 29er size 15.5

I’m selling my 2014 Trek Cali SL 29er. I have used it on trails and bikepacking. It was primarily for bikepacking as I only had a FS bike prior to getting it, but now I have a Surly Straggler. I changed out the pedals and grips, everything else is stock. $600.00...

    Best LBS for women

I suppose I was/am looking for a shop that doesn't try to sell me one of the three women's bikes they have in stock prior to even hearing what it is that I want. It seems like Halter's is the way to go. Thanks for the responses.

    Best LBS for women

I live in Rockland County and I've found that whenever I want to purchase a bike it is difficult to find shops with a lot of women's bikes in stock. Can anyone recommend a local bike shop with a large selection of women's bikes?

    Kids Skis

I see that you can rent from Pelican. Are there any other places to rent from? I'm in New York so really only go to Potter Brothers when I need winter sport stuff.

    Kids Skis

Looking to get my son started skiing this year and figured used skis might be a better deal than renting. Anyone have skis for a 3 yr old? Also, I have never skied, only boarded, so it'd be great if anyone could point me in the right direction on what I should be looking for. Thanks.

    Women's Specialized FSR XC

2007 Women's Specialized FSR XC mountain bike purchased new from a bike shop in 2009, size small. I have had it since 2009, but did not ride it much in 2010 or 2011 (b/c I was pregnant, and then b/c there was no time with a new baby). I upgraded to Avid BB7 disc brakes, so it does not have rim...

Need help choosing shoes for platform pedals

I just use the Five Ten Basics in a small size. If you can catch them on chainlove they are about $40. Also, I got my husband's five ten sam hills on geartrade for $8, (they were new, but ugly) so you may want to check there.

Harriman Help (AKA Help me Pixy)

They are doing road work now on 9W right before you get to the Village of Haverstraw. There are concrete barriers up so the shoulder is not very wide. It's a short section though, and you could go around it, but then you'd be riding in the Village, and the small shoulder is probably safer.

    Rockland county

I'm not saying I've ridden in Clausland/Tackamack, but if I had I wouldn't have enjoyed it. There is an unpaved rail trail from South Nyack through Piermont which has awesome views of the TZ, but it's a rail trail. Graham Hills is probably closer that Horn Hill/Bear Mountain. I think Graham is...

    white clay

I went in August and someone in the parking lot just offered to take us around. It was way better than trying to figure out the map ourselves. You should post on the forum for the club that maintains their trails, and see if anyone would take you around. I can't remember their name now. I think...

    Post your BooBoo's

I fractured my orbital bone in two places, and now sport a nice scar on my cheek. If you're going to go over your handlebars, you may as well land on your face I suppose. All of my doctors told me I was super lucky not to have more damage. I lost consciousness so I don't know if my helmet...

    Chain Strecther Recap:

I didn't finish the race, but I did want to thank the other racer who helped me when I fell. So thanks!! I'm sure you/she couldn't have finished well after spending so much time with me, and I appreciate it.

    Chain Stretcher

I rode it yesterday. It was fun, but difficult. Then again, I'm a beginner, almost everything is difficult. I fell about 4 times, probably from going too slow. This was my first time at Blue Mountain, and it is a great place. Oh, another thing I noticed was that the ground was dry, after riding...
