Tariffs...what to make of them.

So Trump Tzu had a plan.....just give a bunch of guns to the Kurds and they will pass them to the Iranians!

Trump says US sent ‘a lot of guns’ to Iran amid protests
The US president has reiterated that his administration “sent guns” in an attempt to help Iranian protesters taking part in mass anti-government demonstrations earlier this year.
“They were supposed to go to the people so they could fight back against these thugs,” Trump said.
“You know what happened? The people they sent them to kept them because they said, ‘What a beautiful gun, I think I’ll keep it.’ So I’m very upset with a certain group of people and they’re going to pay a big price for that.”

The most unbelievable part of this story is that it almost sounds like Trump is admitting he made a mistake.

Meanwhile our currency relies on the petrodollar - but Iran is now asking for payment in yuan. This can't end well for (regular) American people.

Some kid hearing that

alright its tuesday, how we lookin on these power plants
Looking like a king sized Taco supreme incoming....

So I read somewhere that Iran is having civilians and kids form human chains around power plants....Not sure if this is true...I guess the thought would be that our pilots wouldn't blow them up seeing the kids there....Of course, our pilots wouldn't see anything by the time they dropped the bombs.

other interesting thing I was reading is the Iran's power grid is the most decentralized around.....130-150 individual power plants....so to have a major affect, you would have to hit alot of them.

Im sure someone is telling the orange idiot.....you know if we do this, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Dubai....they might be drinking bottled water for a long time when Iran strikes their desalination plants.

This is whole situation is a complete loser....We are either going to have to make a shitty deal, send in the ground troops, and a FUCK ton of them....or, bust out the nukes.....So pick your bad option.

Here is something to think about -
Iran must have a copy of the Epstein files with enough detail to blow up DJT.
Problem is, their own leaders, and the ones of the surrounding block are in there too.

Mutual Assured Destruction!

The problem is nobody is telling the orange idiot anything he doesn't want to hear. I suspect that is why reporter questions get such off-the-wall answers. The question is likely the first time he's actually hearing about the topic, so he just answers with nonsensical rambling.

I will say...I mean the Nixon mad man thing has been around a long time....but it does somewhat concern me how many senior leaders Kegsbreath has fired recently.

And the anyone in the military that doesn’t agree gets fired. Lessons learned from Hitler and Stalin.

Oh yeah... that's a different issue. The theory I've heard is Kegsbreath knows he will likely get fired without warning whenever Orange Idiot gets a hair up his ass, so he fires anyone that might be a potential replacement.

@Bike N Gear - along that line, Trump has basically been doing that in the GOP since his first term. His ego is more important than positional competence.

I'm hoping he at least pays attention to the polls. Only 38% of Americans approve of what he's doing in Iran. If he targets civilians, that number is likely to get worse. Mid-terms are still half a year away and people have short memories, but still...

Let’s see what happens tonight! If anything!

I’m against Iran and terrorist organizations having nukes.
Obviously we aren’t the ones with the intelligence.
But military may be taking it too far.

I was texting this with @stb222 ....and I think JD vance comments this morning are telling....we have appearently attacked Kharg Island

Vance says US hit Iran’s Kharg Island, no change in military strategy
US Vice President JD Vance has confirmed US strikes on Iran’s Kharg Island, saying they did not target oil facilities and insisting that they do not represent a change in American strategy.“We were going to strike some military targets on Kharg Island, and I believe we have done so,” Vance said.“We’re not going to strike energy and infrastructure targets until the Iranians either make a proposal that we can get behind or don’t make a proposal,” he added.“I don’t think the news in Kharg Island … represents ‌a change in strategy, or represents any change from the President of the United States.”

I mean right there....it tells you how fucked we know we are....JD scrambling to tell everyone...no no, we didnt damage Irans ability to selling billions in oil....Please markets, dont make the oil prices go higher! we CANT hit Irans oil because we know it will send crude oil prices thru the roof....

We have put our cards on the table, and it turns out...we have a pair of 3's....so either we pay up, or just flip the table over.

But this time he actually replaced anyone that doesn’t agree. Last time around there were still some people attempting to be rational.
