So first off, I'd just like to say that thank God, Allah, the fonze... Whatever diety you prefer... That our special forces got that wso out of Iran and everyone is safe (provided our government isn't bullshitting us)....whew..... However the mission did cost us 2 c130s, 2 little birds, and 2 reapers.... Along with the f15, 2 damaged black Hawks, one downed A10, another kc135 and an F16cj wild wiesel plane and one blown up Chinook helicopter on the ground... Point being their air defenses being totally completely and biggly destroyed seems a wee bit of a premature statement.
I loved the orange idiot on fox today... He actually admitted that we gave the Kurds weapons to give to the Iranian people.... The Kurds just made off with them
So just in the past 24 hrs Iran has launched 80 missiles and over 100 drones... damaged a natural gas facility in Abu Dhabi, hit buildings in haifa, knocked out more refineries and a desalination plant in Kuwait.... We have had to abandon several of our bases in the gcc countries... Point being... I think they are reminding Trump that we are not fighting the Afghans and they can also blow stuff up that we care about... So we can certainly blow up their civilian infrastructure, but it's not going to get the strait open and faster and there will probably be a response we dont like

Right? So we take what? The oil that's currently stored at Kharg Island? That'll be what, a couple weeks worth? And then what? I guess we can conquer the whole country and force them to keep producing oil for us to sell to our alienated former allies.

Like its so obvious at this point....if we REALLY wanted to hurt Iran...whats something we could do? Not take Kharg island persay bc that would probably get own own people killed.....But Iran is still selling and moving tons of oil...we could go take their oil shipments when they make into open water....we are not doing this, bc its the same problem....remove more oil from the market, price goes higher....
Like this is Vietnam 101....We are going to fight a war against a determined enemy, but right from the start, it will be a limited war....Vietnam we were concerned with China and Russia getting involved (moreso than they were)....Now its no boots on the ground and oil prices. This is a complete loser right from the start.
