10th ave. burrito in belmar is pretty good in belmar

Pete and Eldas for thin crust pizza in neptune..

Lambertville:

Cafe Galleria: They made waffles and pizza for the 2011 HOH, so you shouldn't need anymore reason than that. Currently in the process of moving into a new place (should be really soon if not already) after getting flooded out last year. Lots of vegetarian options and tofu aphrodite is excellent.

Agreed, this is one of my favorites. They have been at the Lambertville House on Bridge Street since they flooded.

Also Marhabas, Middle Eastern restaurant. BYOB. Super good gyros🙂

Another vote for the Grease Trucks!! I live a few minutes from there and hit them up whenever I ride through Brunfis...The Veggie Fat Cat is baller status.

Also I've become a fan of Loving Hut in Matawan, there's not too many veggie places around so it's nice to have one as good as this.

Jerk N' Ting on 27 in Franklin.

I'd never had Jamaican before but their curried goat and beef patties are my new go-to for take out.

Will do. I'm just mad it took me so long to discover jamaican. Their sides alone are great. I would've never thought rice, cabbage, and fried plantains would go so well together.

Cafe galleria was on my list but I never made it before the flood. Thanks for the tip Megan! Are they still trying to move into a house on union?

My favorite restaurant in the area is probably Marhaba in lambertville. Consistently awesome food and not too expensive. Get hummus and zaatar bread for appetizers and an ouzi for dinner. Baklava and Turkish coffee for dessert. Also, the owner also owns Annapurna across the river in that little mall in new hope. Really good Indian. They have a naan with coconut, pistachios, and raisins that I could literally eat until I couldn't fit anymore. Nice view of the river too.

Another place I was at recently that was really great is the twisted tree cafe in asbury park. If you happen to find yourself in ap for some reason, really good vegetarian place. I had a coconut curry soup that was one of the best soups I've had anywhere in years.

My girlfriend has a food blog with lots of stuff on it, but we're both vegetarians do probably only Kevin and maybe Jim will like it. http://www.greengirleats.com

Xdave being you are in the parsip area what is the best Indian restaurant down there. Heard this is where to go and we are big fans of this cuisine.

I'm embarrassed to admit we haven't tried any in that area. Like the food, just hadn't had the chance. The one we keep wanting to try and is ALWAYS busy is Spice Grill, conveniently located just before Cycle Craft going east.😀 Pretty good reviews it appears.
Maybe we can meet one night and try it out.

The Jamaican thing reminded me of Bahama Breeze in Wayne/Willowbrook mall. Although a chain, we honestly haven't had a bad meal there, and they are one of the few places that doesn't overcook the shrimp.

I've been there, or I've had take out from there many times. It's good but we prefer Caffe India in Morristown.

In Belmar, the family loves to stop by Surf Taco before we leave to drive home. Good food, casual atmosphere. It is a Jersey Shore chain and of the four I've been too, we prefer the Belmar location.

Spice grill is good. The lunch buffet is $10 and always good. Garam Masala is right on New Road when you leave the parking lot of Spice Grill, also good. Amiya is right next Paul Miller Porsche, Bentley and other expensive cars. I have not been but co-workers at first gave it an excellent review. Fast forward to the next day... review downgraded due to some "issues" as reported by multiple people. That's just 3 places I can hit with a golf swing from my office.

On 46 east bound side (2 plazas before Paul Miller Range Rover, Audi) you have Marakesh which is great Moroccan and they have belly dancers on the weekend. This place is very good and a different experience.
