I will put Old Homestead bacon up against anything on this planet. Even the jews and muslims go there for it.

where in this central NJ area

anywhere for Hmong spicy style food?

or REAL szechuan spicy? The kind that where the spice makes your pores sweat for 30 min just from smelling it and the tingly tangy on your taste buds last for the next couple hours

There used to be than place in Edison for real Szechuan but that's been years. I'm sure it's been rotated out by now. Or dumbed down.

Not Chinese but Thai Kitchen III in Hillsboro... I'd imagine a dish prepared with level 5 heat would do it. I get 3 or 4 and my head sweats like a july run.

I eat 5s there. Not hot enough lol.

All this talk about TK III. I had dinner there. I usually stick to the peanut curry cause thats something my family doesnt make. Everything else is above okay. I have to say though, every app ive tried there falls short.

I don't think I saw anyone mention a good seafood place.
I haven't found a good ones in NJ yet. Anyone know of one?

I've been to Bluefish Grill in Flemington. They're good, but that's not the kind of place I'm talking about.
I mean the real deal where you can get oysters and stuff like that.

In effort to counter LJS would it be a shameless plug to throw Eleven Madison Park up here.

They are rated pretty highly.

If you are serious about good see food, head east. Mud City Crab House, right before the bridge to LBI. Fantastic. And we get good seafood all of the time. They are still standing post Sandy and will open later this spring.

There are some really great places on LBI also if anyone is ever heading down this way we could give you a list.
