Wow, no joke. I remember making just the drive to Jones Beach for Lollapalooza 1992, and wanting to kill myself. Though to be fair, I have done a lot of major road trips since those days.

It's not really that bad, think it took me 2 hours last year. The biggest hassle was the damn GWB and Cross Bronx. Other than that it was 80 mph.


On the site it said the race is capped at 250, day of reg is reserved for Pro's only.

That's also the MAC Long Island 2 day race weekend.

I get (or don't get) my sign off from my doctor on 9/14 so I'll actually be ALLOWED to ride the mountain bike😀

Yikes -- Long Island! I was interested until I saw the location. Google maps has this as a 2.5 hour drive for me. However, as anyone who travels out there knows, a 2.5 hour drive to Long Island can easily become a 5 hour drive. :cry:
