Can't go wrong with Sam Adams

The other day I tried the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. This is a great beer to try. Although, the Winter Lager on tap ROCKS when it comes around.

With over 30 styles of beer from them, you can't go wrong with Sam Adams. But fyi, it has to be the most expensive 6-pack in the store.

Lol, you're shopping in the wrong store. I've paid over $10 for single bottles of beer.
 
Sams is a good start. There is so much more out there. Sams is cheap compared to a lot of things you will see.
 
Sam Adams (the original) was the beer that got me drinking beer at an age just shy of legal. However, I am not typically a fan of their frilly fruity beers.

Actually, I have a rule. No vegetables, fruit, coffee, chocolate or anything other than ingredients used to make beer shall invade my beer. Beer should taste like beer. YMMV
 
Well, my beer of choice is Heineken. But, to mix it up from time to time it is good to drop some favor.

What! $10 for a single bottle of beer? You could be sipping on Gin and Juice for that $, with your mind on your money, and your money on your mind.
 
I have a Triple Bock from 1997 horizontal in my fridge That will be the only SA beer I will ever drink again unless they release that old ale full time from the first batch of longshot.

Yes if Heineken is your go to, Sam is pretty good. And when you're stuck in an airport in, say, Chicago, it's about as good as you can expect to get.

I hear what you're saying, but if you like a good stout or porter, coffee and chocolate have their place for sure. A lot of beers go great with hint of citrus as well.

Personally, I love me a good IPA, and even some of those (some really good ones) have a citrus-like undertone.

In general, I'm with you though... If it's an all out fruity beer, I'm just not intersted. Actually, If there is a fruit in the name of the beer, I think I'm safe saying that I dont like it. I cant think of an example of one that I do like. At the very least, the flavor that "doesn't belong" needs to not overpower the beer.

Cherry wheat is a big fail.

Then you definitely don't want to try this: half a pint of cherry wheat + half pint of Youngs double chocolate stout. 😉
