Conditions?

Does the low bridge go down almost into the water? If its the one I am thinking about I have to agree the higher bridge seems less sketchy unless the height bothers you.

PS- no blue ninjas were sighted while we were at 6 mile Monday🙂

Yea, the low bridge has been covered in water recently, which must have led to whatever happened. I didnt notice anything wrong with it on Sat though.

i took that lower bridge last night. you have to really lift the front wheel to make that happen without issue. its definitely getting a little washed out from the stream.

i love the new gray bridge too - its a big improvement. i don't think i'll fall off this one. as much.

So can any locals tell us if 6MR got any of those spotty thunderstorms this afternoon? I wanna ride tomorrow after work. 5:00 at the 27 lot if anyone wants to join.

should be fine...

Heading out to hit blue and red this morning, it should be fine, espescially if you're going after work you say around 5pm. We got no more than a sprinkle in the area with the thunderstorms last night. Stick to the Canal side if you're worried about getting mud on yourself.

Stymied, as I cannot picture where this is. Can you tell me where relative to either canal, sth middle bsh, concrete bridge, 27 or trail color? Don't want to find out where it is the hard way.
Thanks

its between the concrete bridge and south middlebush.

Conditions were near perfect this morning.

And yes, conditions this morning were immaculate, apart from a few fun sticks that came down in the wind of the storm last night. Get out today if you can.

True this

Superb riding conditions and a beautiful day.

Ditto. Did a quick ride yesterday and conditions were perfect. Oh, the new bridge is awesome. Nice and wide and just right for a wuss like me.

Loose and dusty today. The grass could use a mow in a few places. (Blue in the farm fields after the optional stream crossing , and the trail that leads from Jaques lane down to the "unsanctioned" part of the red.)

Went out this morning and rode pretty much everything. There are lots of trees down from last night's thunderstorms. I moved a lot of the medium sized stuff off the trail, but there are some larger trees that will have to be cut up. The two big ones are both on the blue trail, west of s. middlebush.

Most of the trail is not too wet or slippery. The twisties east of S. middlebush are in great shape.. The blue trail, west of s. middlebush is pretty wet, probably best to avoid that.

i was hoping that with the sun and warmth throughout the day it would be nice and tacky by the after work hours.

I'll tell you what...

If I were in the middle of 6 mile at sunrise while it was still pretty dark under the trees, and I heard a chainsaw from around the corner... I would think twice about proceeding forward...

6 Mile Leatherface...

hmmmm
