Road ID
Which one did you pick?
Road ID Original or the Interactive?
How many have this?

And has it ever been used and did it help?

I had the original. When I was hit by a car, I handed it to the policeman who needed my contact info. I lost it in Lot C at Ringwood.

I was also interested in these. Seems like a great idea. When I ride solo i usually just tuck my license in my shorts, but that lacks any contact info.

Have the Elite (not interactive). Easier than remembering to bring ID, etc when riding. I keep it in my sunglass case, so I won't forget to wear it, since I can't ride without the glasses.

Like a helmet, I hope to never need it, though I have cracked several helmets🙁

I just picked up one. I got the shoe one and attached it to my Camelbak. I always ride with the Camelbak and would usually forget it if it was a wristband or a legband. I attended the Princeton Event and received $2 off.

Wow Ron CCCCCC

I literally ordered mine about an hour ago. Use this coupon code: ARR7668 and save 2 bucks!

I picked up the elite w/o the interactive package. If you have any crazy allergies or medical history I would say to go for it.

I hope to never need it but its good to have just in case. I have run into a lot of emergency situations with no information available. Every little bit helps.

Just order mine, I have some allergies to medicine so I went with the interactive.

Back order 🙁

I have the original...heard they were recently on backorder in some colors...but totally worth it (haven't had to "use" mine yet 😉).

I/we use the dog tag type. The wristlet type seemed to bother me and the dog tags were only around $5. you can put different info on both tags. One thing to note is when my wife crashed on her single last year the attending police officer used her cell phone to call me. When asked why he didn't use her ID tags around her neck he said he wouldn't look or reach down there on a woman. My wife was knocked unconscious, split her helmet in several pieces and had no idea of who she was , why she was there, or where she was.(concussion)

When I crashed last year they did the same thing. Luckily when I got my phone I actually put that stuff in there😀

I've been wearing the elite Id for months and pretty much wear it 24/7. The only issue is the clasp on the strap has a tendency of coming undone. I contacted Road ID and they sent out a new bracelet asap, though it to is a bit unreliable. Not a deal breaker for me, just a mild annoyance.
If you carry a cell phone remember to utilize the "ICE" principal: In Case of Emergency phone contacts. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_case_of_emergency?wasRedirected=true

I have ( had ) the Elite non interactive . As I read this last night I realized it wasn't sitting on my desk in it's usual spot . Now I have no idea where it is .

on a side note ; my daughter who is 10 has Epilepsy and wears a pretty girly bracelet with all her info on it . She had been watching the Tour with me and I asked her if she wanted a new, cool bracelet .
So my daughter has a purple Elite with all of her relevant info on it ... she loves it .

I have the basic, hopefully i will never need to use it. I keep it wrapped around my handle bars when i'm not wearing it on rides. Makes it hard not to see it!

Do any of these colors conflict with meaning for anything else? Isnt there some braclets that people with medical conditions wear that a certain color symbolizes a certain sickness or allergy or something like that?
