I suspect Paraguay is going to put 10 men in the box and leave 1 guy alone up front and look for a counter attack or take it the whole way until penalty kicks. I much rather had Chile instead of Paraguay there....Paraguay is so defensive is not even funny.
I like some of the headlines about Paraguay in different newspapers, unfortunately they do not translate good to English, but they use word play referring to Larissas "top" and Paraguays' forwards. Like, how can they NOT win with that 🙄

Octopus Paul has been predicting Germany's results with uncanny accuracy at the Oberhausen sea life centre by plucking mussels with certain national flags out of his tank.
He has correctly predicted the winner in all four of Germany's games so far - and has now picked them to beat Argentina on Saturday.

Some of the pictures are not from this world cup, they are from the last one in Germany 2006 and the EuroCup 2008.
Remember is winter in South Africa and it has been cold, especially during the night games. All the Mexican commentators are wearing winter hats, gloves and thick jackets...they get cold below 60's 😱😀

Back to the important topic that is FUTBOL!...Finally, after 2 days without it I was having withdrawals...
Brasil-Holland, its a shame one of those 2 will be out early in the quarters, for many this could have been the game for the cup.
Could it be Holland's turn???
in 1994 Brazil beat them 3-2 in Quarters and then on penalty kicks (1-1) in the semis of 1998....Will the third time be the charm? I doubt it, even though I picked Holland to win it all, after watching Brazil play and noticing who effortless they seem to create the goals, I think Holland is going to have a very difficult time, however, anything is possible.
On the other hand, Uruguay-Ghana, I dont think there is any history between them. I think Uruguay will win thanks to the "dynamic duo" Salazar and Forlan.
Ok enough talk, lets move on an to the main reason everybody is looking at this thread 😉

haha...is Brazil like the Yankees?...cuz they always win.😀.....
I had mixed feelings, I like both teams a lot, and I thought neither had display their true capabilities so far in the tournament.
Part of me rooted for Brazil (The Americas thing), but the other part rooted for Holland since I picked them to win it all 😉
Sounded like a great game, it is way more exciting to listen to it on the radio.
