What do you carry with you when riding?

I just got a seat bag to be able to carry some stuff around with me while riding. I have a tube, tire spoons, and a folding tool wrench that works with everything on the bike. Is there anything else you guys carry with you?

So you have everything to install a new tube... do you carry anything to inflate said tube? :hmmm:

I have a C02 inflator and a 2 spare cartridges in addition to the stuff you mentioned.. and a patch kit. Oh yea... tissues (damn allergies- hence why im awake and not passed out from the 3 gin&tonics and two advil PMs)

Two things to consider are quick link for the chain and a spare derailleur hanger if geared...

haha yeah I have a frame mounted tube. I completly forgot about a quick link. I really didnt think that there was anythign else that I could carry.

I think i'm going back to traveling xc light, whatever will fit in a bike jersey. I have a little strap pocket from a backpack probabely for a cell phone.I put an innertube into the loop that would go around the strap. In the cellphone pocket i put a chaintool, patchkit, fold out allen key/screw driver set(park)quik link or two maybe a small bottle of chainlube but that's pushing it,i usually lube the chain right before the ride. A pump os,not a co2 guy. That still leaves two pockets for little extra bottles of water. I think i may try to start eatting a little bit during rides, so an enrgy bar/granola/fig newton.

camel back contains the following:

small backpacking first aid kit
small knife
multi-tool
tire levers
patch kit
tube
small pump
identification
compass

You want to go lite then go tubeles. I went tubeless six months ago and have not gotten a flat since.

the bag under my seat with a tube, my cell phone, wallet and spoons doesnt hold me back. Oh and my little 5mm allen wrench. I feel like thats enough for me for now. Once i start getting more into the sport, I will consider tubeless. If my rims were tubeless ready I would.
