I’m a traditionalist and based off of your handle, I’ll take that as a review.

I love fine quality craft beer, but I also love a good cheap beer, and PBR is the best of them.
My actual review is that it’s pretty good. Not great. But I think under the right conditions, like a hot sunny day and/or just finished a long ride, it would be great.
What about during a long ride to help prevent cramps?

No. It really just tastes like PBR with a considerable amount of pickle juice in it.
I like PBR. Yes, I know it’s a shitty cheap beer, but even shitty cheap beers are the right choice in the right circumstances, and I think PBR is one of the best in the category.
This PickleBR is never going to be the go to. Ever. But it was fun to buy a 6-pack for $6 or whatever it was, and I’ll definitely drink the rest on a hot day after a sweaty ride.
What if we added chocolate syrup to it?

While I enjoy a chocolate stout, a chocolate pilsner or lager sounds awful... 😵💫
For the most part, I'm a stout-guy, so lighter beers like PBR have never been my thing.
Bearing in mind, among my DC crew, we usually finish a ride with something like Ten Fidy and having an imperial stout mid-ride is not uncommon... along with passing around a flask of bourbon or tequila (sometimes both).

I’m gonna start getting a reputation as the weird/flavored/gross beer guy soon, lol. It basically tastes like a sour beer smoothie, but in the best way possible.
I promise I like normal good beer too, I just also like getting an experimental beer every time I go to the store.

An IPA And a Stout. The stout was more like a Guinness and the IPA less hoppy but both had a refreshing flavor.
