What beer are you drinking RIGHT NOW?

Nice Jimmy, looking forward to more posts an beer reviews.

So my cold has finally gone away and I am in the mood for a beer. The wife picked this up, not sure where she got it. I must say that she has good shopping skills, she usually finds deals on good shit. This beer is really full bodied with a rich almost wine like after taste and not too carbonated. A nice beer to warm up to on such a cold damp night.

I don't like the idea of drinking alone at home so rarely have a 6 pack in the fridge. For me it's more of a social thing. I mean I do like to drink beer just to drink beer, but I guess I just haven't ventured into my man-cave to drown my sorrows away.

I hear ya but it depends on the circumstance...

IMHO there are few things better than (when the rest of the family is out and I have the house to myself) sitting down on the couch, watching a game on the tube and enjoying a great beer.

On the other hand, if you drink yourself blind when you're by yourself, you're probably an alcoholic.

This stuff is pure starglow energy. Space Dust IPA

Wow, in a word...Complex.
I'm not usually a fan of IPA's with a ton of bitterness but this has the juicy citrus hops to go with it. I'll have to agree with others and say this beer is more interesting then the famed Heady Topper.
THANKS MITCH😀

Wow - Really? That is interesting to hear. I was in New Hampshire 1 day last week and I was scheming to get some Heady Topper in Vermont, but I did not think it was worth an additional 100+ mile roundtrip from the ski area just for the chance to possibly get some instead of fun on the slopes.

Anyone have a can of Heady Topper they want to trade for a can of Neshaminy Creek "The Shape of Hops to Come" Imperial IPA? Let me know. I've got some of this Neshaminy Creek Imperial IPA wonder.

Boulevard Brewing - Single Wide IPA

lightly hopped, nothing crazy - they claim they add some yeast at bottling for a second fermentation - er, uh, don't you add malt to do that? anyway, no sediment in the bottle....

its ok - there are better for the price.

- BONUS: This is my bay window project behind the sink. Had the help of a pro getting it framed, and building the custom jam extensions. The headboard is also custom, using the one that came with the window as a pattern. The counter top was templated - when they returned with it, the window was removed, counter put in place, then window replaced for an exact fit. The shades have motors and a zwave/RTS compatible. The paint was color matched to the trim boards that came with the window. someone in the house has a vertical challenge, and couldn't reach them.......

After tonight's ride I stopped by the Filling Station to eat a hamburger and tried Peak's Organic Nut Brown Ale. It was kind of meh and not much taste.

Jimmy, I see that have Kelso Beer there. Give that a try. I've tried their IPA and thought it was outstanding. Plus, if you do like it it, pleas pick me up a few cans. I can't find that out in Jersey.

Usually simple sugars are added for bottle conditioning/carbonation. Some beers, especially high ABV and bulk aged beers get a small dose of healthy yeast to consume the small amount of sugar during bottle refermentation, which carbonates the beer. Yeast doesn't thrive in high alcohol environments.
