The Hammonton Gazette listed readers choice restaurants in Hammonton. The Pic-A-Lilli Is in Shamong and Henri’s Hotts is in Folsom. Both were honorably mentioned as “just over the border”. But I don’t work at the paper, so take it for what it’s worth. How did pic-a-lilli not win wings?
I want to go to this and eat a salad. If you're riding WSF on Sunday 10/11/20. The Interboro Gun Club located on rt. 563 in Green Bank (south of Micks) will be holding its Annual Venison and Ham Dinner that day, 1:00 to 6:00. Outdoor seating is available. All dinners served to-go. They will have: trap shooting; turkey shoot; scatter board; 50/50 raffle, and a raffle for a “Wagon of Cheer”. More info on their social media pages.
Directions from Batsto
paved roads: rt.542 E from Batsto to rt.563 N
gravel roads: Washington Turnpike to the forgotten town of Washington. Then SE on Iron Pipe Road to rt.563 S.
along the campground. Not as far as Apple Pie Hill, Speedwell Rd. to Speedwell.
Then Friendship.

Hawkins Bridge, then the Orange Trail to Mount Rd. Headed back to Carranza via Mount Devious. 27 miles, 87 feet of elevation. KHS fat bike, fixed,
.
Now to get back to Mount and the orange trail. There are 3 roads that leave Hawkins Bridge. The one I came in on, the one I need, and the other one. Got on the one I needed, but couldn't resist a clean looking fire cut off on my left. Thinking that as long as I am between the two roads, I shouldn't have any problem. Like the slight of hand, I'm miles off of my course. What should be about 25 miles, turns into 35. Good thing GFBD isn't till December.Sometimes the heat gets to kurt...Here's a story, I met a rider on the orange trail at Batsto last weekend, who told me he saw a mountain lion. Big, sandy, long tail. I didn't see anything other than a hummingbird and a couple of woodpeckers.
I’ve been hearing stories of mountain lions, and their dismissals. I have personally seen big tracks that look feline on the sand roads. Last time was a week ago on Quaker Bridge Rd. I thought about grabbing some pics but kept on peddling as they looked fresh, had a leading toe and no claw marks. The tracks came out of the woods, down the road maybe 75’ and then back into the woods. 🤷♂️Here's a story, I met a rider on the orange trail at Batsto last weekend, who told me he saw a mountain lion. The tracks I saw were 3-4”No claws is a good sign, but bobcats and foxes hide claws too.
Size can help here.
