Excellent conditions today. Stayed south (Wlidcat, Spongebob, Buddha, Gravity, Pines, rattlesnake, Thirsty Dog). Zero mud. Came across two ATV’s on Thirsty Dog doing a good job of trampling the brush alongside the singletrack 😡. No plates of course 🙄

I was up there last week. Conditions were great. 3 trees I couldn't hop over and had to get off bike. Rest were smaller. Pumphouse bridge was flooded and not passable.

idk man the trails i rode on saturday were a disaster, at least on the lower elevation trails. almost completely underwater in sections. mud and massive puddles everywhere and even snow (!) still in some spots. as mentioned, the pumphouse bridge is not passable which forced me to go completely backtrack to lake loop. as an aside, i am once again begging the trail conference to revisit this bridge section and rebuild it once and for all. i am willing to contribute $$

twin bridges (the actual two bridges) was underwater last week but has receded enough to make it rideable again. i mean it was rideable last week i guess except for the part where i lost momentum and fell completely into the 3-4ft of ice water (good times...). btw HUGE thanks to whoever FINALLY cut that damned tree by the bridges

big tree down on double pond by the campground. iron mountain is a mess with mud/water, so are plymouth, double pond and the downhill sections of hofferlein. water was bb deep in spots

Yes, it's hard to find a good trail here

This is the loop we did on Sunday. Primo conditions. No wetness anywhere. I think the trails further north (near the lake, iron mountain, double pond, two bridges, red dot) are more prone to bad conditions based on the wetlands in the area.

yeah the northern ones take a lot of effort NOT to be wet/underwater, especially in march. the problem for me is that i have to traverse them in order to get to the ones you mentioned and besides the mud, my lungs and legs just aren't there at this point in the season. too much apple strudel apparently.

unless i venture to the ferber circle entrance but the road in basically requires an atv these days

Was out yesterday, so can provide some updates. I cleared what I could on Plymouth, there are two trees down. There are also two on banker not far from Plymouth.

Blue hiking trail, porc u pine, mojo swamp, wall, pickle, tombstone, rattlesnake, timber are all clear. There are a couple bigger trees on hemlock/load (apologies didn’t have my phone to pin them). One is just after you cross the log bridge if coming from mojo swamp and the other is on the third segment before you get to water front staring across at pickle. Also south end and sitting bear have a few on the timber end.

Next time I won’t be dumb and bring a phone for photos. You will need chainsaws.
