would this be available for a test ride? not sure if the size is good for me at 5'8".

Yes at the very least a parking lot ride. I think I have some flat pedals somewhere if needed. I am available today and tomorrow but then my schedule is jammed until the 18th. I live in Monmouth County.

I am 5'10". It has 23.6" ETT which is pretty close to a medium in other brands (I had a 05 medium Specialized Enduro with a 23.5" ETT). The stem is 70mm.

My friend Bill got a 5Spot after I did but could not test ride mine (he lives in Ithaca, NY). He is about your height and I offered to sell him mine but he wasn't sure it would fit. He bought a medium which did not fit him and he had to sell it. He currently rides a large.

Yea, as you said, these turner DW links run a little small. Sweet bike though.

Sorry but I don't think this frame is rim brake compatible. 😀

I'm 5'11" and I had 2 Turner frames that fit me perfect. This may work for you but definitely give it a test ride first.

More free extras - 1 spare brand new Turner hanger and one slightly misaligned one (if you have DAG its only slightly off so its still good as a spare realigned). One set of brand new Avid brake pads in the packaging.

damn, this would look real good next to my DHR in the same color...
dunno if i'm ready for a new bike yet though, hmmmmm. I got some thinking to do.

I checked this puppy out in person today and it's as nice in person as the pictures. Unfortunately the standover height was a little tall for my liking (damn short inseam)
Someone needs to buy this thing. It's sexy.
Super light, brakes and shifting feel great, cockpit fit me just fine in the saddle but the head tube was a little tall for me. Josh is a super nice guy too.

If anyone is between sizes, as I mentioned before my friend Bill had a medium and now rides a large. I sent him a message yesterday to comment on the fit (he's been riding as long as I have, since the late 80s - edit: note that is bike inseam, not your pants size which is usually smaller):

I'm 5'9" with a 31" inseam. The large really is the right size frame for me, but I just barely clear the top tube with my shoes on.
