Trees down on orange

Anyone know why there are about 4 trees down on the beginning of orange going west out of lot? Wtf?

Are you talking about out towards the blind trail or out past the sand pit? if so we should be able to check this week. You are right this summer we have cleared stuff on all the trails. I think this winter we are going to see a lot of trees down in all our parks. All the real bad leaner's that did not come fully down from Sandy are going to fall the first wet heavy snow we get.

Sudden cold and light frost can hurt the orange trees too. Its best to protect them, and your grapefruits too.

Sorry missed your post the other day.

I'll be riding today at 4:30 with a friend if anyone wants to join. usually do 10-12 miles.....Green Highlander with double roof racks.

Of the new tree's down I only found the one on the Orange "Blind" Trail along Hospital Rd. The ones way down Allentown rd were from Sandy and already have a go around but were cleaned up anyway. I rode every trail looking for more but could not find the "other down tree's". Thanks for keeping us posted.

Thanks Mitchell, the one on blind trail was the one I was talking about. Trails look good, need rain though. dry and sandy in some spots.

As always if you come across trees down across the trails either post up here the location as best as you can or email allaire@jorba.org and we will put them on the clear list...
as of now there is a good size one on the hog bog that is on the list...
