Things that make you smile :)

Shakedown ride at Nassau. 10 miles. The place is perfect. Hero dirt.

1. I'm slow.
2. I'm fat.
3. It's definitely more trail oriented than my 2020. Took a few minutes to get used to the more slack front end in the turns. I hit Sidewinder later in the ride and it felt great.
4. It still climbs really well and has a firm feel at recommended suspension air pressures.
5. I don't really notice the extra 10mm travel.
6. AXS Reverb dropper is awesome.
7. The Gunnison/Montrose tires are meh. Tanwalls are dumb. They also seem to run narrow for 2.4s compared to the old SE4/XR4.

Nassau always makes me smile. I’ve been there the morning after heavy rain and other than some slick roots, it was totally rideable. There is something magical about the dirt there. I just wish the powers that be would come to their senses about the no biking section. 🤦‍♀️
