Tariffs...what to make of them.

How would they do that? Is that a function of their new "smart" meters? 30-some years ago, my house was set up for off-peak metering. There was a second meter that I believe only had my water heater on it. Supposedly the idea was to help ensure a more consistent load on their generators at night. Got a rate discount on the second meter.
My house is still set up for PECO to do that, but they stopped that program over a decade ago. It was nice... I would usually do laundry at night.

Speaking of EVs... it looks like the Aptera is inching closer to actual production... man... I wanted one of these so much 20 years ago when it was first teased and I was commuting 100 miles/day... But I just don't have a use for one now.
