Steel frame roll call...

Thanks Al - I got the frame in June, 2010. That picture is from one of my first rides on it. I've since changed the bars & stem. Now running a Surly Open Bar, which is really nice. It's wide & steel so it's smooths out the ride much more than the Mary that's in the pic.

BTW - I work in Allenhurst & was behind you on Ocean Ave one day last summer. You had your bike on the back of your car. It's quite beautiful. Enjoy.

JohnnieA knows the deal, for sure. That Waltworks is gorgeous. I particularly dig that short, tapered fork.

Yeah that's a good looking bike you have there. I spent plenty of time on Walt's website when I first started kicking around the idea of a custom bike. It's funny you remember being behind me because of my bike; I hope it wasn't a road rage day for me 😱

Whenever I ride, I prefer steel

Niner MCR (with steel fork) is my ride of choice off-road
Other bikes in my stable (at the moment)... BTW all are steel

09 Rivendell Bombadil (Roadish Country Bike)
85 Stumpjumper
85 Rockhopper
82 Stumpjumper
85 Mongoose ATB PRO
85 Mongoose ATB
86 Nishiki Prestige (Road)

Always have my eye out for a classic steel frame... There's just so many awesome ones out there, the fun never ends...

Stay ferrous, my friends...

Peace,
BB
