If you want to leave the main streets here in town snow shoes are still your best bet.
Those are some crazy pictures, better grab a snow mobile for next year 😀
So, is every street like that? Or are some streets drifted worse than others?

I had an interesting drive into Manasquan this morning. On Rt 195 eastbound, once you got past Rt 9, things got strange. The highway would randomly narrow down to one lane and then weave back and forth. I suspect there were a couple cars buried under the snow forcing the plows to improvise. I saw 4-5 cars just sitting in the median, abandoned. There were dozens of spots where you could tell a vehicle had been pulled out of the snow.
Once off 195, onto 35. The silliness continued. Exits off the highway did not have lanes. They were just right angle turns. My exit went over the curb and grass a little. 😱 I noticed the ramp in the other direction is simply closed with some traffic cones.
I hear it is much worse elsewhere but thought I'd share.
here's somerset - about 4 miles as the crow flies from 6 mile.

Still no plows in Neptune! Anybody else? My friend in Rumson said they were down his street 4 or 5 times.
we just got cleared tonight. Have to wonder where all of the trucks were.
I think it prepped us good for any future situations.
Thanks, the Bouncing Souls show was cancelled tonight and I have tickets. They said the roads haven't been plowed yet.
Oh and if you look to your left you'll see my Uncle's restaurant on Lake 😀
