those people who do contingent planning here specified:

1. move generator to near garage
2. buy 10 gal gas
3. make sure we have at least 1 full propane
4. bring shovels inside back door
5. beer & wine (this moved up priority list)
6. charge all phones and back-ups (did i mention we have a generator?)
7. fill up gas tanks of all cars
8. move all outdoor furniture to secure position
9. fill up buckets and pots with water

oofa - now to the beer thread.

If we get 2 feet, you'll all be on the road like us skinny folks.

But seriously, get out there and pack that shit DOWN.

purchased beer at glen gardner liquors tonight. good selection, i like it when they give up aisle space for more product....
should i have picked a different spot?

10. rearrange garage to get the other car in.... thanks, forgot that one.

ps - it has been snowing for the last 20 minutes, just a nice flurry..
Yep... had to throw the walgoose, defy and the super light into storage to make room for the car

Planning to ride in the AM if situation permits. The Fat Man just declared a state of emergency, so no driving tomorrow. May try to ride from the house over to Huber.

This is what our director of operations emailed this morning:

A State of Emergency does not mean you may not drive. It is only to release financial resources to ensure that State can respond quickly to any incident or weather event. (SEE BELOW)

You will be expected to complete your scheduled assignment unless you hear directly from upper management

Thank you and stay safe!

New Jersey State law (N.J.S.A. App.A:9-37) allows the Governor to declare a State of Emergency during significant weather events and natural disasters. The emergency declaration is a tool used by the government officials who are managing the emergency. It allows State agencies to quickly respond to needs of citizens, reassign personnel, and deploy vehicles, trucks, and equipment to respond to the incident. A State of Emergency allows the government to act more quickly than it can during non-emergency times.

That said, I'm definitely gonna try and make it out there mañana. Local of course.

Park with 10 + miles of trail just down the hill a half mile from my house.
Same here (Tourne). Been waiting awhile for this. Have to also add that riding around town in snow covered roads and such on the fattie is sorta fun too. It's really the only time I enjoy road riding.
