Size Large 29er

I'm in the market for a size large 29er. Looking to spend around 1500-1700. I recently moved to MA so either shipping/meeting at a later date would have to work.

Interested in hard tail for full squish. Pics are gold. Might consider a SS.

If you can stretch it to $2000 ish, you open the doors to a whole buncha bikes

LBS has a 2011 Flash 29er 1 for under 2k. Was maybe thinking about that one if I can push the money a bit further.

That would be a great bike and worth stretching for. Those wheels can be setup tubeless IIRC.

I have a Jamis Dragon race 2010 853 steel 29er bought last march ridden maybe twice a month, check the Jamis site for specs, brakes are different avids exlixir 5 and a better seatpost (thomson) and a control tech stem $1650 am in summit nj, 21inch frame,I am 6ft 1 inch, I got a turner sultan in june so i dont ride the jamis much

for a geared bike in that price range I would go for the superfly no question. At 1800 and change retail you could probably get it down to 16, 1700 or lower with a 2011 model if a shop is looking to offload last years model.
