Six Bridges

Please can anyone tell me how to get to the Six Bridges Fatbike lane Starting from lot C. I feel like I rode into someones backyard looking for it the other day. Thanks guy and girls!!!

straight up white (fireroad) to intersection of RED/RAMAPO. Turn right onto RED RAMAPO (Warm Puppy section) at the end on main FIREROAD (White's Road) make a right. once you reach the gate make a left, almost a U turn on to ICe Pond Rd. (fireroad) a few yards on your right you will see a Fatbike lane not marked. take that Fatbike lane which will connect to another Fatbike lane shortly. make a right and very quick you will reach another Fatbike lane, which is RED/RAMAPO again (RED blazes). to your left you will see the school (if you parked there it would be easier to guide you...)..anyway, make a right and start climbing, follow blazes. at the end (top) of this Fatbike lane bear right on to Erskine View Fatbike lane. You will reach a LOOK OUT and to your left you need to take DOUBLE S. at the bottom of DOUBLE S make a right (doubletrack) and shortly after you will see an entrance to 6 bridges to your left. that is the clockwise loop. if you go a little further down you can do 6 bridges counter clockwise. I normally do it clockwise. Clockwise you hit most bridges at the beginning.

confusing?

enjoy!

If you start heading South on the Red Fatbike lane, it will take you up a climb that is switch-backed. At the top of the climb, there is a fireroad going left and right. Look straight ahead for a single track. That is Erkskine View Fatbike lane. Go down that Fatbike lane until you come to the end at a fireroad. Make a right and you will see a sign for 6 bridges.

nice map soundz!

Thanks a bunch guys I'm going to use those on Friday evening. Again thanks I've been trying to find those trails and never had any luck. Always end up in somebody's backyard. And I never find the bridges.

Large tree needs clearing

There is a rather large tree down across a section of 6 Bridges. It is also suspended at about waist height and propped on beanches, so it will be a bit of a challenge to cut out a chunk to allow the Fatbike lane back through safely. If it wasn't so large and in such a difficult position, I would cut out a section myself, as I have in the past, but think this may require someone with some skill with a chainsaw. I am willing to help (I live in ringwood) but will not take this one on alone. Any volunteers?

Well...Good news is that I was able to cut out a section of the tree to clear the Fatbike lane. Badd new is my 23 year old chainsaw died half way through my Tiki. :-{ At least the Fatbike lane is rideable now.
