My $5/mo (+tax & BS) deal was set to expire at the end of this month and go to $22/mo. I went online to cancel. Then some lame offers came up. I still clicked cancel. Got on a chat and said I'm only interested in the $5/mo deal. They said OK and renewed the deal for another year.

Yes, I've had it for a year. Paid up front and paid up front this time too. It comes to $73.20 with tax & BS which is slightly prorated because I still had 3 weeks left in last years plan. Includes streaming and I guess most other stuff. I only listen in the car.

Actually, last year I went to cancel and they offered that deal no questions asked. So this year I just said give me more of the same and they just did it. I really would have canceled otherwise. There's other options.
Thanks what iv been doing with that deal I'm on year 2 set to expire in June right now. Good to know it still works

all access has more - but i'm not sure driving around listening to playboy station is a big draw.

Just got my email notification about "auto-renewal" soon (mind you, it's on a card that has been cancelled/closed) - they want to charge me $247.51 for "Sirius Select" (I don't even think that is what I have).

I'll be calling on my lunch break. I'm wondering if I should threaten to cancel and see what they have to offer. The reality is between Podcasts and Spotify, do I even need Sirius??

I went thru the same thing recently. I told them I was just paying $99/year all access. She replied "ok, we can do that again for a year." Done. $119 with BS fees and tax.

I guess next time you have to tell them you were paying $49 a year, see if they go for it.
hey last year i did the same thing with the plan i was on ($60/year) and they just did it. i guess customer retention is more important to them.
I just wish it wasnt a need to do to get a 'reasonable' (relatively speaking) rate.
