there will be a "rest stop" out on the course. not exactly sure where yet. it will have water, other "beverages", maybe some other stuff. you are welcome to drop whatever you may need there for p/u later.

😀 I've got "Thor, God of Thunder" above me on the list, though Mike could well be faster than him anyway.:hmmm:

Well yeah, Thor has that big heavy hammer to weigh him down. You try racing SS with an 800 pound hammer in your belt.

So looks like the house is gonna fall through. (unless this m-fer does the right thing and fixes the septic)....

But on the bright side, ill be able to make this.

After sleeping on it, I've come to the realization that there are far worse positions to be in than trying to buy a house.
If it doesn't work out then it wasn't meant to be. Ill find another house.
And this race was apparently meant to be...

I agree, I also think given the market that being in the buyer's seat allows you to ask for the moon. You may not get it all but if you don't feel you are getting a fair deal you won't have far to walk to find another. I am also a big believer in the "not meant to be" thing especially in real estate. My wife and I once got really psyched on this one house and we obsessed like crazy. The seller was really tough to communicate with as she was elderly and it went on forever. We finally gave up and let it go and a week later found a much better house for us that we had for 7 years and turned out to be a much better investment.

Besides home shopping is better in the off season🙂
