Second Wheelset

I need to get a second wheel set so I can keep cross tries on my cross bike and switch to road tires when I want to be a often-maligned-on-this-site roadie.
I am light - 140lbs(well nor so light by roadie standards!). I have a Giant TCX 2009. My goal is to spend 250-300 including a free hub set. Any suggestions?
thx nipper

they have neuvation mtb wheel set under 100 no cassette, i already have 2 mtb wheel set and one disk brake mtb otherwise i prorbably buy them (30 bux front wheel cheaper then a tyre).

i like my neuvation m28 road wheel set but it gets mixed reviews

I'll throw in a second vote for Neuvation wheels.

I have a set of their R28SL wheels which I use for all sorts of road riding and racing; they're good, basic traditionally spoked wheels, 20/24 spoked, and they weigh in at around 1500g per set. The best part is that they're currently $240 per set, which is pretty ridiculously cheap for a wheelset of that quality and weight.

On top of that, Neuvation offers great service and reasonable crash replacement. They're not the flashiest or most bling, but they do a great job.

See here for the website.

I've seen some guys at Rockleigh use those wheels and thought about them but never looked into it. The deal on their site right now is just stoopid cheap. I would consider those tubulars for cx. Wonder why they don't make a 29r wheelset.

Hmmm, The Neuvation wheels fit the bill for the price. They have the R28 areo spoked ones on sale for 89/140. I don't care for aero spokes - any comments on this? I prefer the traditional spokes.

Get the same ones. Different rim widths means your brakes need to be adjusted everytime you switch..
