Right or wrong

In my younger days I sold all of my motorcycles to pay for school. (Ninja, Enduro, Motocross and Quad) I had every intension of buying more bikes after school.

Every year I say I will buy me a new motor bike next year. That was 25 years ago and I still do not have a Motorcycle. 🙁Oh well, maybe next year.:hmmm:

That is so depressing. Buy a used one for cheap.

3 years ago I had 3 bikes ...then my son was born and I only had 2.
2 years ago I had 2 bikes ...then I bought a house and I only had 1.

I simply got rid of the bikes I used the least. My experience is that its best to sell the bikes when they have some value then try to hang onto them and then have to take nothing when you finally decide to sell.

And you can always buy a new pimp bike when the $$ situation improves.

Couldn't agree more. If it has come down to keeping a bike or paying the bills you pay the bills. There may be nothing you own that depreciates faster. Unload all but one or two crucial bikes before they lose another 50% of their value next year.

The nostalgia and sentimentality will vanish the second you buy back in on a cutting edge 2013 model.

Bikes dont generate money or pay bills every month, just do whats right and what you have to for now . You can always buy bikes again
