Riding plants

Ornot’s stuff is terrific, I have a few pieces. But they don’t do pants currently.

I have two pairs of the Club Ride Fat Jack, and they’re solid. Very versatile, depending on the layers you add/don’t add underneath.

I also have a pair of Endura Humvee knickers, and I’m very impressed with the build construction. Definitely a step up from Club Ride. I need to check out their pants.

I wanted to like these but having to size up the higher size was just too big. My son has them and they are nice.
Yeah, I'm a between-sizer so it they work well for me. Not needing a belt is a bonus too. They have also replaced all my old North Face pants for active outerwear.

Ornot’s stuff is terrific,
And made in the USA. Which is also terrific.

My 3 go to clothing brands are Kitsbow, Ornot, and Voler.

The more I buy Kitsbow, the less I buy other brands. Their stuff fits me great, lasts wash after wash and never thins out, and style suits me well. They are expensive, but they’re made to order, they will do custom sizes (try finding a 32x33 riding pant anywhere) and they take a beating. I wore 1 pair of shorts all summer and washed them every time. They still look brand new.

In minus 40 temp days, I use adidas tapered leg track pants. Advantages: zippered cuffs allow you to slip knee pads on/off with the pants on. Breathes well and cost is reasonable. The zippered pockets are also a must for any trail riding. Honestly don’t see the point of dedicated riding pants when options like this exist which tick all my boxes.

I’ve been wearing Sporthill. They’ve have several options and are a little pricey but perfect for riding and skiing. I’ve had one pair for 10+ years and they are still going strong. After 10 years, they paid for themselves.

Im a big fan of things being not sport specific. Thanks for the tip....

Raceface Ruxton Pants in blue are on sale on the Raceface website for around $65. That's around half of what they had been going for.

I bought a pair, but haven't used them yet so can't really rate them, but the price seemed right. They are MTB bike pants, kind of enduro style, but I bought them mostly to wear on the BMX track.

I have pants from Royal Denim and Endura. Both are OK but I’m still on the search. Really need something with vent zips but that does not seem to be a feature on most MTB pants.

I
Oneal sent me a set of these to try last year. They are not super expensive and pretty nice

We just started stocking them. They are not the fanciest I’ve owned, but they are comfortable

We’ve also had Great luck with these from Pearl
