Not sure where you're located, but Wawayanda State Park is pretty good after rain. The rocks and roots get super slick, but rain, even lots of rain, doesn't seem to damage the trails all that much.
How about this Sunday? LOL.😎two trails have changed. we'll hook-up when i ebike!

Exactly why I asked. I think everything will need a the weekend to dry out. But....I will be tearing up Echo Lake Park in Union County tomorrow. Since they won't let us build trail systems in the my Continentals will have to lay down some packing from New Providence Road to Springfield Ave behind the lake. 💪🚲

That is the elusive @DennisG. Easier to find him on the trail than on the internet.
Most trails need at least a day to recover depending on the base. any thing with a sand base will drain better then clay base. Are there...or is there trails that drain overnight well enough to ride the next day or even same day? I never ride after it rains or during rain...but I want to 🤣🤣
Thanks Mike. Most trails need at least a day to recover depending on the base. any thing with a sand base will drain better then clay base.
That said if you are riding when things are a bit too wet please do not go around any puddles just slow down and go through the center.
If you want to learn more as to which trails drain and why there are TM sessions at just about all the parks this is the best way to find out about trail care.
