Pump Track In West Milford

Ditto, I was there Sunday with my 15 year old son and his friend. Neither of them are as into riding as I am, and yet they loved it..kept going for round after round....that 4 year old was amazing, too...I consider myself pretty fit, but after each round I certainly needed a break. Yet this little dynamo just kept going...like the Energizer bunny, and her mom was right behind her every lap!! What Jeff, Jay, Pete and the rest of the crew who made this happen have done is nothing short of awesome, wholesome, family fun. I haven't been to the Alexandria track, but from the vids it appears to be just as awesome. Nice work by all!

For those that go there, consider donating a little cash to their efforts to landscape the course. It'll help strengthen the soil structure, and improve the overall aesthetics of the site.
 
I've been there a few times in the past month and the pumptrack is off to a great start! Alot of people were there on weeknights and the atmosphere was no pressure, run what you brung! Although, I will say my handlebars are too wide for that track, slapping on some smaller 745mm bars before I go back. 😛

Met Pete there one time along with Jeff and we showed our appreciation for what they had done. I know I along with some other friends have offered to help dig there whenever need be.

When is the whole "official" opening? Pretty sure I saw a flyer saying it was in late October or November. Anyone have details? I may swing by.

Any pics from the event?

Everyone should be pushing their town for a pump track. It's the one bike facility that anyone can enjoy.

Pump tracks make cyclists.

Was there Sunday for grand opening. The whole family had fun. It was my 1st time on a pump track and I just totally loved it. I was surprised what a great workout too.I'd go 2 laps & have to stop to let my HR come down. We will definitely be going back...
I have plenty of plants to donate..will talk to Jeff and bring them up.
 
I was there with my whole family, was quite a scene. Well run with a constant flow of riders from youngsters to adults. Super fun and awesome workout. I picked the brain trust to plan my attempt to convince my town. Not sure where all pics are as there was a boat load of photogs on hand.
