Actually, I did have speeds -- I was out on the road. All was well until that damn wind and rain came rolling in. I was hoping to get 25 miles before it rained, and I ultimately did get 28, but my average speed was about 20 for the first hour (including stops for lights), and then probably 15 for the next half hour when the wind and rain hit. I couldn't see when my glasses fogged up, and then when I took them off, the rain felt like tiny daggers stabbing me in the eyes. The wind beat me up today, folks. I've got battered cyclist syndrome.
 
I am glad I chose to do a street session today instead of a road ride. The wind absolutely sucked.

Yeah ... this Saturday, when the rapture comes, it all goes sh*thouse, and I'm left behind, that video is pretty much what the resulting hell is going to be for me. I will have to wake up every day and be forced by Beelzebub (just before he goes and shoves a pineapple up Hitler's a$$) to go train in those kind of headwinds without a paceline.

Damn, that's awful. Even when that rider re-mounted, the bike was still sliding sideways! That dude needs to eat a few donuts or something.

Oh, and get a cycling cap. Won't help for the wind, but helps a ton with deflecting eye daggers.
