I know they have lunch on Sunday, I believe but not positive about Saturday.
Will be at Stewart Friday, Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully make the race also.

Food vendors will typically be there for race day. Not for the pre-game.

It actually says on their website what type of help and when is needed. I would have loved to help but life gets in the way as usual...

from the one I did last year, you just show up and they tell you where help is needed. Too many people ended up at the race start setup so I wandered onto the course to help with some reroutes with Jason and Wild Bill. Even directed a few guys to move a dead deer.... I've been managing volunteer efforts for close to 20 years and recently slowed down with the kids and my parents getting older. I'm still trying to get a robotics program at a local intercity. Anyone have free time?
 
Its only been a couple of weeks.... well... 5 days of the bike commute but I no longer feel like I have to ride on the weekends.
Altho I would love to help at Stewart, unfortunately I am one of those poor bastards that does not have summer Friday at work but will be on the look out for some TM or the likes for Sundays.

I really don't have any free time, the very little riding I managed to do is really stolen from other things but...you said robotics? Mind to share maybe by PM ?

will do, my goal is to get the richer districts to help at risk districts succeed at the tournaments as such.
This year, I'm trying to get a workshop going where neighboring schools get together post competition season to discuss their lessons learned and build camaraderie across towns. Growing up, I used to go to Bell Labs in the summers for work study and some of the brightest kids came from Plainfield, which is a depressed city near where I grew up. We can talk more about this when we are together, PM me if you have questions

I am amazed with the amount of things you do... usually when I say I don't have time, I am just being a dick and don't want to do the said task... but damn. When you say you don't have time... I believe you.

They use more people on Sunday. We had a good time at the Slick Six at 6Mile and the weather was terrible. On Saturday if you are so inclined you can get a gist of what it takes to produce an event of this type at a county park. There will be a lot of good folks that you could learn the ropes from on dealing with such entities as municipalities, and such.
This weekend Saturday looks a little short on hands,so if possible come on out, 9-1, then we can ride Lew Mo after. Sorry if I sound pushy but I am,Hope no offense taken.

I cant do Saturday the times run into other commitments. My wife actually wants to check it out.
