1st race, Highland CX 2005 on a borrowed C-dale mtn bike. Happy mid field at 28. 2 years of injuries keeping me out until 1st mtn race Lew Mo 2008. Pics are from 2nd race at Jungle. 3rd in beginner. Bit by the bug for the next 4 years. H2H/MASS/CX.

there was something on @capedoc sharp enough to cause a flat?

my first real mtb was this 2007 Raleigh....I cant remember the model it was called....I remember I bought it at the RT15 bike shop and it was about $650. At the time, that seemed completely batshit crazy. But then @Santapez went out and spent like $1500 on a cannondale rush and we really thought he lost his shit.
This was the first singlespeedappolosa in 2009....I converted it for this race....the crankarm fell off 4 times.
