I cancelled my plans for 6mile last night because of the rain and I know how that place gets. I hit up another park where the trails shed the water better. But I should be there on Sunday.
Stupid question, where is the concrete bridge/ wet area?
If you ever need help with TM or building stuff count me in, I worked as a carpenter for a while.
is that all the way down by that house with pond and the concrete bridge?
I'm so jealous of you guys... I built it but not gonna ride it anytime soon...
even my knee is not so bad today... probably will take weeks to heal it... then I'm gonna wear my $1000 titanium knee brace and try again.
that line keep getting better and better as it get ridden in...
speaking of "new" stuff..there is a new tree down on the red trail, axle height on a 26er...This log is about the perfect height, not too big, not too small, sqaure to the trail and perfect for the good ole front wheel bump (jap tap). Lets not bastardize this one with a bunch of sticks to make it rollable...:getsome:
I rode the red trail yesterday but did not see anything new so it is fresh fallen one.
I can build another bridge for sure but the red one is not quite legal for us... yet...
Jdog, your word?
yeah, I would think J is going to say no to the red....
I said lets not make it rollable, it is a nice clean log that is easy for the beginners....also, not nearly has big as the tree you built the roller over.
wat about us poor beginners that barely know how to take those logs. i been riding for 3 weeks now, still tryin to get a feel for the bike, and i always forget where those logs are stacked up at. i get over them but poorly, getting better tho.
still afraid i am going to wreck myself going over those things to fast.
