I recently got really lucky and got a Kona stinky Deluxe frame with a shock from a friend for free. He also gave me a seat, shifter, derailleur, crankset, pedals, chain guide, and bars/stem. I have a set of wheels at home I'm gonna use so all I need now is a fork, brakes, cassette, grips, chain, and tires. I'm hoping to do this for all under $700 if I can get a used fork.. I might be able to get a boxxer from one of the guys that goes to my lbs for $300. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a fork if his offer falls through. Also any recommendations on hydraulic brakes and tires. Finally what gear ratio would be best if I have a 36 in the front?

i love my 888 and my avid juicy7s. For tires stick with Maxxis or Kenda.

I have a 2006 marzzochi jr t set up for a light weight rider with a direct mount stem used only for a couple rides probably a few other things.$300.00 takes it
