hahaha thats crazy/awesome.when going faster than surrounding animals, i guess you are looked at as a threat.i almost nailed a deer at hartshorne once. thank god my breaks are crap or else it probably wouldnt have ran away.

I saw this just before going to ride 6MR, then I spooked a doe on the blue trail and this video just kept running through my head the whole way back.

Holy Frioles. Except that was clearly an Antelope which I have seen this happen many times, a buck would have been truly unusual. That thing would make an awesome linebacker for the Jets though, you see the way he put his head into it?
The sounds that the guy was making when he was down was pretty disturbing though, it sounded like he was knocked into another dimension and now was trying to communicate with the animal.

It's a Red Hartebeest and none have been spotted in the state of NJ as of yet 🙄

It looks like he saw the animal coming in the last few seconds. Trust me, that is some scary sh!t. I once had a buck charge at me in Stokes State Forest. I was carrying a shotgun and still almost crapped my pants (because the shotgun was loaded with very fine bird shot only). The buck was spooked by a salvo of shotgun blasts gunning for some pheasants. He did not care at all that I was in his way and just kept on coming causing me to dive into a pricker-bush.😱
