look out for 2 stolen bikes

Sorry this happened to you man...On a positive you inspired at least one bike owner to write down his serial numbers...I have always been one to say "It won't happen to me!"

(Make that 2) Damn this sucks really sorry for you. I curse the ball-less big balled bastards, unless they were women which of course would mean they were already ball-less big balled bastards.

Well lets put it this way.

If these "M#%Her F%*#@ers are found and should they be in possesion of some balls. Perhaps we should all get together and run our "Fat Tires" over them!

On top of this nightmare i'm off to a funeral tonight for a 21 year old who died on his motorcycle this past weekend.

Can i call in a redo on this week?

Sadly there are not many parties at casa de Taylor810.
I don’t want to cast any aspersions on people who work in the trades. I have great respect for true craftsmen. But my suspicions have to do with a group of contractors (carpenters, painters, HVAC, electricians) that were doing work on the HVAC systems in our building late last summer and through most of the fall. These guys were in and out of my place all the time while I was at work and knew exactly what I had there.

Obviously that was not a good time then for a heist but after a few months? Who knows?

Exactly why I just made sure my renter's insurance covered mine. Luckily I was on a business trip when two idiots decided they liked my laptop, projector, and sound system better than me. Didn't have renters insurance then and would have been screwed. Ever since then I've been overly paranoid.

And for the record, the two idiots got thrown in jail for 7-10 years and unfortunately for her, had their mom's business van taken due to it being used for the break-ins. Apparently they weren't smart enough to realize that if you keep breaking into cars every few days at roughly the same time in the same general area the cops won't put two-and-two together. The Lost Weekend

So…….

What does a guy do on the first weekend after having both his road and mountain bikes stolen? It is something that I now realize I have taken for granted. It is just “what I do”. It’s been probably almost 20 years of getting out and riding almost every weekend. The last thing I wanted to do was hang around my place and think about why I can't just hop on my steed and ride my all troubles away. So I decided that I would drive to visit with my friend and her son near Philly.

We spent Saturday going around to car dealerships mostly for her but I was also thinking of my 93 Honda civic that only has any value to it when one of my rides was up on my roof rack. Car salesmen (for the most part) turn my stomach. But we did share a few laughs over the experience. At times it felt like we were in a “Twilight Zone” episode.

Saturday night it was off to the "Victory Brewery" for some good eats and better beer. Sunrise Weissbeer, Abbey 6, and of course a Golden Monkey. Once back at her place we watched some "Little Rascals". All good stuff!

But once I got back home on Sunday night the reality hit me again. What am I going to do for my after work stress relief during the week and the next weekend coming up?

Thank you all for your support and concern and any help that you can provide to get me back out there.

I really really need my "fix" from my ex9!

I've got an 18" hardtail that can be put back together quickly that makes a pretty decent road bike as it is 853 steel you are welcome to in the meanwhile. PM me if you are interested.
