Le Tour!

Thor's role on the team was never a GC contendor and he never even dreamed of holding the yellow jersey into the high mountains. He is huge compared to the gc quys and can attack in the hills and low mountains. It is kinda like Norm trying to follow Fred up a climb, he can hang ate first but will explode if he tries to keep up. Now that Garmin's GC hopes are done, Thor doesn't have to work for someone as much and can go stage hunting. If Vande velde (SP?) was still in it, you would see Thor playing a role like Cancellera is on Leopard.

TommyD in 9th, that's still a GC threat for GC (Garmin-Cervello, get it, that's a play on abbreviations, mehhhh) - not to win but top 10 is important.

Seriously though, anything out of top 6 is pack fodder or chasing some other jersey / stage.

"A finish like this should not be allowed.” - Andy Schleck, explaining why he may never win the Tour.

If I learned anything from watching the tour for 3 years is this: All cyclists are whiny excuse-making emotional divas.

Thor Thor Thor!

Basso and Voekler are pretty non-dramatic. The sprinters are pretty narcissistic for sure.

What is Andy doing with his hand gesture suggesting the top 6 guys rotate pulls? Who does that help? They don't need to break away from the peleton. They need to break away from each other.

I'd rather see Contador win.

I think the frenchy is going to come close to winning in the end but Evans looks to be holding his own. Well time to go roid up some more pros. Yea, I've been rooting for Andy the last two years but he seems to be a totally different rider this time around. Too safe for my taste. Go get it you beeatch!

Contador did the same hand waving things one of the times he attacked yesterday and no one helped him either, so it ain't just a schleck thing.

Dude just looks douche-e.

Yeah we get the idea. You don't like him. Let's let it go because you're just obnoxious about it now.

Obnoxious is a bit harsh I would say.

Anywho, today's stage has a similar finish as yesterday and the final climb, even though it is only a Cat 2 sees this tour steepest grades at 17%. If it is poor weather again, it may be the final blow for the Schlecks.

None of those statements are spoilers at all. You can't expect people to wait until 11:30 pm to talk about something like this.

Anywho...

I have to imagine Contador is going to attack here again. Everyone must be expecting this. After the Schlecks couldn't hang yesterday he must want to pry them further from the picture.

Evans is going to react only at this point?
