Lance Armstrong interview

How long until we hear about Johan Bruneel's or Chris Carmichael's involvement? Or did that already come up & I missed it. (I haven't seen the interview other than some clips online BTW)

Floyd Landis called Carmichael "Lance's beard" ... 😀😀😀

According to some, Carmichael really believed his training plans were the reason for Lance's success, and this made him a joke in the peloton.

And yet, he continues to run a clean business and isn't being crucified by everyone who can spell the word "bike".

So in the end, it's really not all that bad.

simple: don't need to dope if you can do your part without....

so when O asked if anyone could win without doping, wasn't the obvious answer 'no' - because nobody beat them - not 'i don't believe so'....

don't believe him about not using for the comeback either.....

if i get out today, will be wearing this, see what happens....

I'm not so sure that's entirely true ... this article raises questions about how clean he was as a pro coach.

To be honest, I don't know why he would even bother with the pro peloton anymore. His amateur coaching business is a lot more lucrative, and that's obviously clean. I know a few folks who have used it with noticeable improvement and success. IMO, his programs are most valuable for their precision and order, just like using a trainer in a gym. The hardest thing about training is coming up with a workable regimen, and his programs are very good for that. They take the guess work out of it, and the only responsibility on the rider is to actually do the workouts prescribed. I think that's so much easier than the planning phase. And that's why his plans are valuable to regular riders. I would think that now, with all that's going on in the pro peloton, the suvival of his business would depend on how far he can distance himself from it. Make it ALL about amateurs and he'll survive as a clean alternative to doping.

But as that article implies, he is under suspicion -- but hell, they ALL are at this point.

I took an Advil with pseudo-ephedrine this morning. I think it's now illegal for me to ride a bike competitively in 16 states...
