And yup.. Blue mtn in PA. Should be a really close drive for you. I've been to every "Pocono" mtn more times than i can count... my parents used to have a condo on Camelback. If you're looking for a quick day trip, give Blue a shot. It's my preferred "local" place 😉

Yah, i love creek though...it's pretty much my backyard... i go early afternoon, so the snow is awesome that time of day, no crowds & park is so much fun... 🙂

Two fun as hell days at Killington sun & mon. Monday was insanely fun...snowed all day, no lines, just an amazing day!
 
Creek is opening up soon.... ain't going. Probably a minority snowboard that thinks creek has gotten worse ever since they ruined Bear/South peak (which I can see from my window).

Creek has seemed to reject the race ski teams....they now go to Hidden Valley (at least according to a coach for High Point, I see at the Wantage Dog park)...

I need to head up north some time....

Blue Mountain, in PA...that place seldomly dissapoints me.
 
Yep, Creek open tomorrow, but I'll be at Killington again this weekend. Creek's too packed weekends. Will be at South everyday during the week 🙂
 
windham is a tad further than Hunter. But I hear it is less crowded than Hunter, and especially less people from the city there....

anyone up for a day trip or so?

Though my season doesn't start until replacement knobs for my BOA Focus comes in (and I install it)....
