Is it a hike if there is zero elevation gain or just a walk in the woods?

Can you tell me where this is? I spend time in Princeton during my kid’s activities and always looking for ways to kill time while I wait.

That’s wild. I couldn’t hike across yesterday, it was slick on some stones and one section is completely submerged.

5 mile hike through Watchung today. Been a while since I've been on these trails.
Anyone do any hiking around the New River Gorge in WV? Thinking about doing a large detour after our next trip to Pittsburgh.
We only visited the NP. pretty lackluster... Very limited trail network, I think it's mostly a rafting destination.
There's also a tiny bit of rock climbing down there.
Any other recommendations in WV for hiking or sightseeing? Don't need all day epic hikes, just a few hours at a time.
Seneca Rocks was worth checking out, not too bad of a detour from Pittsburgh either.
