At 8:53 pm it looks like Jim is off track according to the live tracker

At 9:01 it shows him back on track, I think the tracker is screwing up,
it's all over the place when you "refresh" the screen.

He looks to be hanging with Mark Seaburg. That's good in that Seaburg is very experienced AND a doctor ... but I do hope that won't come in handy.

i like the raceflow view - think Pete is correct, looked like a bad point on jims line, unless he sprinted to catch someone...
avg just under 10mph. approaching that 'not a check point' in warm river.
 
why's everyone bunched up near the messa falls road, it's not a check point?

33 mile checkpoint to prove you can boil water or something to that effect.
 
9.3mph. Thats a good pace for the first quarter of the race. I bet ya the leader will taper off his pace at the 100mile mark.
