For fitness sake

This winter, to maintain my cardio fitness during the off season, i ran multiple times each week and tried to do some weight excercise twice per week. The training paid off because I noticed that I had retained much more of my cycling fitness level when I took my first ride of the year last weekend. Despite two plus months of being off the bike, I didn’t feel too winded and never felt nausea even on tough, long climbs.

Haven't done so yet but leading up to my A race I'm going to heat acclimate now that I have access to a sauna. The benefits seem too good to be true.

How are you going to do it? Post ride or just x amount of time per day/week?

Yep post ride, 30 minutes in the sauna for a week or two seems to be the ticket.

Psh. Only the Core suits at $30 per will do.

i'd recommend putting your trainer in the sauna if you really want said acclamation....and also get the sauna up to about 75% humidity.....

Actually, please don't do this, i'd rather not see anything bad happen to you.

I feel like its all fine, sit in the sauna and cook yourself....but at the end of the day you just have to go out, race in the heat and find out who you are as a person. How your body cools itself vs others.....I never found the sauna of much use because I have no issues riding in the most miserable heat and humidity....RACING in the most miserable heat and humidity is a different story tho. Very fine line between dam its hot, and fuck I want someone to kill me now please.

and if Trump really wants to win this war in Iran, he should drop heed into their desalinization plants
